Welcome to my first blog.

I've gone and done something a bit stupid, brought a 2004 BMW E53 X5 with a 3.0L petrol engine. With petrol prices at an all time high and the cost of living going up and you run a BMW X5 on a budget and still enjoy it?

My daily drive up till now had been a 2004 Nissan Terrano 2 which during my ownership had not put a foot wrong, reliable and boring to drive. My partner thought it was like driving round in a tractor. With its next MOT looming and knowing there was a lot of rot in the sills and doors i started looking for a replacement.

One of the lads at work happened to mention he was selling his BMW so i jumped at the chance!

The budget so far

Purchase price £1000

Nissan sold £600

Total £400

Next blog I will look round what ive brought.
