Lets freshen up the air con

e air con in the X5 works great, blows icy cold and keeps the cabin cool in the recent heatwave. I have noticed that if the car is left standing for a couple of days it can smell a little, well moldy.

I ordered the cheapest A/C sanitizer of Amazon which was Wynns Airco pure aircon cleaner for £9.81.

After running the system for a few minutes you have to set the a/c to recirculate full fan then put the can in a foot well.

Lock the nozzle down and close all the windows and doors. Leave for 10 mins with the system running.

After 10 mins stop the engine remove the empty can and open all the windows for 5 mins

That's it and it works no more smells!
